GC&CL Final exam Project : Ban on selling new fuel cars

        Many countries have started to ban the selling of new fuel cars, and tries to make all cars and bikes electric, and it is becoming a trend. The world’s largest car market China is planning to ban all fuel cars in the near future, because Beijing needs to ease the air pollution.

        Many countries also want to create a clean environment for the next generation too so many companies is developing many different kinds of electric cars like the most famous one “Tesla”. They invented an electric car with autopilot in it and it works out pretty well, and the efficiency is really good. There is also a company in Taiwan that make electric bike, it's called "GOGORO" it's the most popular and successful electric bike company in Taiwan, although it is the most successful electric bike, it still has many downsides, the bike itself is really expensive, and the parts too, if you have a  car accident, the maintenance fee is high enough to buy a brand new bike, and the batteries is not efficiency, you have to change your batteries in just 70 kilometers.

I like to ride motorcycle a lot and I have both fuel bike and electric bike, personally I like the feeling of fuel bikes better, the vibration of the motor, the sound of the accelerator, and the gear, is nothing compared to the electric bike.

I think the ban of selling new fuel cars in Taiwan is not practical, the government didn’t have a good plan, electric vehicle isn’t that popular in Taiwan, and there are not very much places where you can charge your car. So the ban of fuel cars is not wise until you have a proper plan.

GC&CL BLOG POST 5: WHAT IS BITCOIN?

Bitcoin is a digital currency that only exists in the internet, and it is encrypted so it is also called “cryptocurrency”. They are stored in a “digital wallet”, only the one who knows the key can transfer money out of the wallet.

I’ve been trading bitcoin since 2015 and I trade all my coins at $2729.2 USD,

what a dumb idea, bitcoin got up to $19805.99 USD at 2017 December.

I think that passion is something that many people lack of, we really need to be more passionate. Many people in the world including me lack the passion of everything, we just live our life as if it is given for free, and done nothing about it, we really need to find a passion to live in. Life is short, we should live our life to the fullest. You only live once.

GC&CL Blog Post 3 : What is the meaning of life and what is my purpose

I'm not sure what the meaning of life is, but what I know is that I enjoy the moment I live. You have to accept the fate and don't complain too much, so I think my meaning of life is to seize the moment. Many people thinks too much about their life and is not happy about it, and live a miserable life. 

In my opinion life is short really short, so you must do something that is meaningful, you can't just waste your time, time is irreversible, if you waste it, it's gone. So I think everyone should find a hobby or something to let yourself busy, as I said, life is short, you may not be the best of your field, but there sure will be your footprints.

GC&CL Midterm Project : Artificial Intelligence

  Artificial intelligence is a trend nowadays, there are many benefits but also many unpredictability, personally I think that AI can definitely change the world in a good way, robots nowadays are programmed by human, they can't program them self, but AI can, so some people are afraid that they might become evil and destroy human beings.

I love to watch scifi movies a lot, the most recent movie I watched is called “Ghost in the Shell”, let me realized that if everything is programmed, there’s a chance that someone with bad intention can hack it, so many people are concerned about the safety of the AI’s system, and refuse to try new technology. Another famous movie is “I, Robot”, the way that AI think is different from human, and they don’t have sense of morality, in an emergency situation the robot will save the one that has the higher chance of survival, not the one someone wants to save.  

I think we should really develop AI more, the future of AI system is endless, it can make our life more convenient, and without manpower, things can be more efficient and less mistake, if the AI is programmed perfectly, you don’t even have to maintain the system regularly, it can update itself. That’s where the opponents fear of, they thing that they might be too smart and started to dominate and destroy human.

  Artificial Intelligence is literally “artificial”, so if we can build it we can probably control it, we can put some specific program in it, to let it self-destruct if it if we are unable to control it, we can even build a safety device in the robots to power off when necessary. 

In my opinion, I think we should definitely put more effort in AI’s, don’t think about the consequence, and don’t think too much, just do it.

GC&CL blog post 2 Ancient AI and the Truth about Humans

Today I am going to talk about a blog post called Ancient A.I. (artificial Intelligence) and the Truth about Humans.

In this article, the author says that humans are already the ultimate AI. already exist in/as the human mind. Do I agree with this? Well I don't think so, I think that human is a total different idea than a AI, we have flesh and a free mind, we can do anything we want and we made robots and AI it doesn't make any sense.

Furthermore, he says that womb is a 3D printer. While I agree with some of the author's points, I also disagree with some of the things he says. For example, in terms of human mind is the ultimate form of AI, I do not think that is correct. Why? Because we have the ability to think independently not by programming. 

Additionally, even though the author says "There were MANY designs of the human throughout eons of time, and most failed", I think that it is just the process of natural evolution Why? Because nature selects, the fittest survives.

Furthermore, in terms of the history of the earth is all a lie, I disagree that too. Why? Because we have evidents of history and ancient civilizations, although we don't have a time machine to go back to the past to confirm

In conclusion, I don't think human is the ultimate form of AI, we are just a special species that can think independently and create many things including Artificial Intellengence, so there are many conspiracy about many things like we are just a brain in a jar controlled by aliens and things like that. 

GC&CL The Sixth Mass Extinction

The six mass extinction is human extinction, and it's happening now. It is not normal, it's not natural, it's caused by human, lots of air pollution, chemical pollution and pesticide.

Deforestation is the primary threat, many species extinct because of deforestation. Many species has already extinct without notice, and many species are vanishing in a rapid rate, espically vertebrates, wildlife is dying out due to habitat distraction, human overhunting and pollution, but I think the main problem is human overpopulation and cointunely growth, we will die in starvation someday.

I think global warming is a threat too, the weather has changed a lot when I was a kid, the weather nowadays is really strange, and it's affecting our life's.

I think if we don't deal with it, our earth will die really soon, and human will extinct.
